Salt gun
for flies
The Bug-A-Buster 2.0 knocks house flies out of the air with a blast of table salt. Aim, fire, then sweep up. No spray drifting onto your food and no squashed fly on the wall.

Swatter vs spray vs salt gun
Fly swatter
- Cheap and simple
- Leaves marks on walls and tables
- You have to get within arm’s reach
Bug spray
- Covers a wide area
- Chemicals near food, kids and pets
- Smell lingers
Salt gun
- Ammo is table salt
- Nothing to spray, nothing to smell
- Fire from a short distance
5 tips to hit more flies
- Wait for it to land. A resting fly is far easier to hit than one in the air.
- Get close. Salt spreads and slows with distance. Closer shots hit harder.
- Use dry, fine salt. Damp or coarse salt weakens the shot and can clog the gun.
- Use the laser. On the aiming model, put the dot just under the fly and fire.
- Pick your surface. Shoot over decking, concrete or tile where salt sweeps up easily.
Fly-busting FAQ
Will it work on fruit flies?
Fruit flies are tiny and usually come in swarms, so a trap works better. The salt gun is made for house flies and similar-sized pests.
Does salt hurt my plants or deck?
A few shots won’t matter, but salt can build up. Sweep it off plants, soil and painted surfaces after use.
Can kids use it?
[Your age recommendation from the supplier.] Adult supervision and eye protection always. See our safety guide.
